can i just replace the side view mirror on a 01 lesaber ltd?

my driver side mirror looks like it is burnt, can i just pop the mirror out and replace it
instead of having to put a whole new housing on

Yes you can replace just the mirror glass but it can a PIA job. Check YouTube for videos on how to do it. See if you want to undertake the job. The other alternative is to get used one from the junkyard. Again, look on YouTube and see if you want to do it.

At the auto parts store there is some sticky back mirror renew. You place it over mirrored surface and trim the edges to match yours. I have never used it but might be something to try.
