38 people viewed you question. They don't know and neither do I. Take the car to a mechanic and find out the answers to both questions and how much it will cost.

first change the fuel filter then run it up a hill. there should be no power loss or labor. engine should climb strong; provided upkeep was followed. as long as the fuel pump never was ran on empty, it should last .. mine ran to 188k miles and is still running on original!

i'm not sure how your fuel delivery system is but there should be a pressure valve to check the pressure. you might wanna clean the TBI with chevron techron additive too. one injector handles the whole engine.
