braking pad sticking

not an expert, but do some of my own work. your pad isnt sticking, your brake caliper is. you might have excess build up of brake dust in the caliper, your brake fluid might need changed/bled and re filled to a proper level. i am going on the assumption this is a disc pad, not a drum brake, which is totally different. if caliper sticks, and fails to retreat( release ), the brake system can also be suspect. it is all based on pressure, or the lack of. if you replaced the caliper, and it still sticks, you might have an issue with the brake charging system, ABS sensor, etc..
