There is no "con", you just need to realize that it's a vehicle and vehicles require maintenance. This is not your moms Honda that requires nothing of you except filling gas. This is a delicate beast that needs to be driven hard here and there, and needs a strict maintenance routine. You need to check the oil frequently (every fillup), it injects oil into the engine to lubricate the seals. There's allot of research I would advise you to make asking random questions is not going to help. Join rx8club.com and search don't post just search, look under the issues and problems tab and read all that people are going through.
