After changing started solenoid, ignition switch, motor will not shut off

The truck is a 77 ford f750, Manual trans. 391 cid.

There's a cam on the ignition that moves a pinion that operates the switches , it may be off a tooth from when you replaced it , on some old vehicles the coil can be " back fed " through other circuits , like the amp meter , your experience may differ .
