Should I park my 1992 M-B 300D with 321K miles in the garage, and hold onto it for 10+ years as an investment in its future value?

Question type: General

1992 300D runs great, gets 30 mpg, but body and interior is showing its age. Still, she's a
classy looking car. Just purchased a 1998 E300 w/165K, and want to retire the '92. Just
wondered  how long I'd have to keep the '92 for it to really increase in value. It's 23 years
old now. When it's 30, 40, 50 will it be worth a lot more?

Rust is gaining on my 1992 300D Mercedes with 325K miles, but still runs great. Will it gain in value if I park it in the barn until it's 25? 30? 35 years old? Probably worth only $900-$1,200 today. Just can't bear to part with the old gal.
