Buying a Car Online

Asked by Guru541YH Jan 05, 2018 at 06:08 PM about the Mazda CX-5

Question type: General

I want to buy a car from a vendor who is 2500 miles away.  There is a lien on
the vehicle.  What is the best and safest way to do the transaction?    I image
I should pay the lienholder directly and send the seller the difference.  What
would be the best way to structure this so I don’t get burned?

Thanks,

Michael

Walk away as there are too many ways to get screwed on that deal.

Pay lien holder off and have lien holder send pink to you directly. Pay seller off when vehicle getting transported. I would go see vehicle before you put out any kind of money. To many scammers out there.

That must be one rare vehicle to go to all that trouble, expense and risk.
