Can anyone help me with this unknown electrical wire?

Hey interior mud guard that has fallen off and I have
a yellow electronic wire that’s not connected
wondering if anyone knows what it is and if it’s
worth fixing? Cheers

It sorta looks like it goes to the connector right above the end of the wire.
