have a technical problem with captiva diesel 2011

a fleshlight is turning on every 600-700km (orange color) it has something to do with the DPF filter. it falashes for about 80km of steady driving. during thst time the fuel consumtion jups by 50%. this car is 5 months old and this appeared after 3 weeks of purchase. the local dealer can not find the reason. anyone faced that kind of problem?

That is when the diesel particulate filter DPF cleans itsel by injecting more fuel reaching temperatures of up to 600oC to completely combust any soot that may have accumulated while driving. Info. obtained from my owner's manual
