Convertible Top Window Fell Out

I read a lot on different web pages about the subject issue.  There are a lot of folks posting about the window falling out of these cars.  I did find on some post a fix.  I just repaired mine a few days ago.  I had tried many products, hot glue, contact cement, sealent, etc., just a big mess. But, the fix was 3M Window Weld.  A tube cost about $18.00 at the parts store.  You'll need a caulking gun, a couple of pillows to hold the window up and may have to do small sections at a time.  If your window is completely out, do the bottom then the top, then one side, then the other.  The work time for this product is about 15 mins.  Clean the areas with nail polish remover then use a single edge razor blade and the nail polish remover for clean up and trimming...of course after the product completely dries...about 2 hours in my 80+ degree garage.  I'm very satisified so far.  Good Luck.

Hello Ricky We do have the same issue with our chrysler 2005 limited, and we would like to now more. First of all is your window still in place. Second where do you live temperature wise, we're in Florida and is is very hot sometimes, any idea what the effect would be here Thanks Please give us an answer on pdehing@aim.com
