Trim Details

Question type: General

On generation 3 Toyota Prius, please identify each trim level above base.  My understanding is that the Prius One is the base model.  What are the upgrades for Prius Two, Three and Four?  When they were new, how much more did you pay for that trim level as standard?  We are wanting leather seats and believe we need to look for Prius Four?

The question about price was what did the manufacturer consider the relative upgrades worth? What did you get with each trim level upgrade? I'm just trying to establish a baseline of worth when it was new to value now. Used cars have so many variables I find them very hard to evaluate. Perhaps that is not the way to evaluate. We have a 2004 (we bought used in 2006 with low miles) now has 265K miles on it and has been great car. We are sold on the Prius but do not know what to avoid Gen 3. I heard to avoid 2010? Wanting leather is I've grown to hate the fabric seats. Any advice to the ignorant on buying a Gen 3, please advise. One more question - isn't the Prius V the longer car?

I had to prove my trim level to the insurance company after the car was totaled and here I found the spec sheet for my vehicle with all available options and standard equipment. https://diminishedvalueofgeorgia.com/toyota-priuss-confusing-trim-levels-i-ii-iii-iv-and-v/
