Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi I need to reset my distributer points and I am
having trouble finding them.
Are they in the distributer or the cap?

Distributor points are under the distributor cap. Some caps may have an access door to go threw so you can set the dwell with a meter. If not, then it's the feeler gauge.

I would respectfully suggest.....if you do not know where your points are located the you shouldn't be the one to adjust them. Take this vehicle to a qualified mechanic.
