Follow the top radiator hose to a 'housing, looks like a pipe on an angle sticking out of a flange. Usually two bolts. Remove housing, you don't even have to take hose off. rteplace thermostat the SAME WAY the old one is in. There are marking on the thermostat "Block side "radiator side" Use a little high=temp silicone on both sids of gasket, do NOT over-torque. You will not lose much coolant. and do this on COLD engine

How do you get the bottom of your air filter box off, there are two rubber things on it do just pull them out? looks like they go all the way thru.Needing more space to get to the bottom nut for the thermostat.
