Asked by Capt_Shown Apr 16, 2018 at 04:04 PM about the GMC Sierra 1500

Question type: General

I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71.  I can startup and head down the road
a short piece, after getting up to road speed 55 mph, it will drop will it will me
to reduce engine speed, and it will not have any acceleration.

I will stop and place in park shut engine off count to 50 or 100, then restart
and continue on my way.

What is causing this problem?
