power door locks and FOB quit working what is the problem? I have checed fuses and the keyless entry module. the are good

open the fob, inside are 3-4 little small half bubbles underneath each is a contact. you may need to , very delicately separate them from the contact, maybe the battery is dead also. we have a tendency to squeeze too tight

Just to clarify, tagster, you cannot use the power door locks at all even from within your vehicle, or there is trouble with the key fob? My problem was that inside the fob, where the batteries are located, there are the 'contacts' for the batteries.....I had to squeeze them closer to get them to make better contact with the batteries. It worked...my fob works now. Had the same problem, would not lock or unlock unless I bumped the fob against something. Now it works great.
