The ignition switch won't turn

What would cause the ignition switch not to turn at
all

A few possibilities: 1) Wrong key. I'm sure you checked this, but if you have more than one key try them all. 2) Vehicle not in park. I'm also sure you checked this, but worth mentioning nonetheless. 3) Bad switch. Have a mechanic check it out!

Try this put two fingers on the key like you are going to start the car.turn the wheel left and right hard turn key at the same time.it works a lot
