How do you remove the carpeting, in a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier ( Coupe ) ?

Asked by CarGirlGuru Aug 03, 2013 at 04:22 AM about the 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If there are tons of screws & Panels to remove 1st, would it hurt anything to just splice
edges with a Utility Knife for quick carpet removal?

1 Answer

Does anyone know if there are any kinds of wires, or anything that could be hurt by cutting the carpet out of the car? ( It has stains that will not come out, & the car is too old to replace it with new carpet )
