From what I know there's a separate scanner for the tranny that auto zoo may not have . Not sure what an "O.D. " light is . check engine light ? ( CEL )

Yes a flashing OD light is signaling a transmission problem. Best to have it checked before it leaves you walking.

OD illuminates when you are in OVER DRIVE. It may be signaling a transmission problem or that you have selected it via the transmission shift controller in error.

Maybe keep the over drive off , it's not like a turbo boost . I say that because from my experience that's what people think it is , it's only a higher gear . I worked on F350's for a delivery service and people would load the van and drive up hills and country roads with the over drive on and it would kill the trannys . I tried to explain it to no avail .
