Why won't car start w/ new fuel pump and filter?

I replaced fuel pump, filter, and the psi is 42. We have spark in all 6 spark plugs, sprayed ether, and the car still won't start. My fuel pump went bad so we replaced it along with filter. Please help!  All my neighborhood guys, most of them mechanics (not certified) more than basic knowledge, are stumped.  I ran the car out of gas, then friend put gas in it, started and turned around then it died completely.  So we replaced fuel pump, filter (seriously needed to be replaced) did tune up w/ new plugs, wires, oil, etc.... we are all stuck because psi 42, gets spark in all 6 plugs!!!!!

Is it fuel injected and if so does it have a plastic intake? Vortec? If it does and you shot it with ether you probably cracked the intake/injector tubes in the intake. I learned this the hard way. Don't shoot ether in a vortec. If it back fires thru intake you will be replacing it.

You might want to check your ECM and the Ohms on your fuel injectors
