i have a 1996 chevy cavalier and it keeps making this ticking noise.i have had a timing chain installed,and a timing tensioner installed also.do you know what could be causing this noise?

Here is a list of things that could cause a ticking in the car. It's hard to diagnose unless you can hear the noise, but here goes. 1. Valve 2. Valve Lifter 3. Rocker arm (if worn) 4. Oil pump drive gear 5. Engine oil low Hope that helps!
