Asked by Christine Dec 19, 2015 at 10:29 AM about the 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe

Question type: General

Ran out of gas, 3 times in 5 weeks. Now truck isn't
starting. I've replaced the fuel coil,  fuel relay
sensor and the fuel filter. Still no start. Is it the
ECM or fuel pump? Or what?

When you run it dry you ruin the pump. So yes it's your fuel pump. Stop running it out of gas!

Thanks Andrew and Mike. I went and got the pump, now to find someone to install it without going broke! Lol
