why would a stock radio turn on then turn itself rite back off.

i have 2 stock radios and neither want to work i push power see the clock for 3-4 seconds and its turns off. no sound no nothing. i need to know if i have 2 bad radios or the car wiring is messed up

...well if it is sophisticated as all that, will not see proper load/speakers out there and will shut itself down...to save itself from self-destruction, because there isn't a proper 4 ohm load or two present there~

no man, it need to see a 4 ohm speaker load or it won't turn on (theory, am still playin' with it)~

if you are going to bench test this raymond. be sure that the unit is grounded. Be sure speakers are connected...the off/on button should be working fine at this point~
