97 S10 blazer. No air blowing into the cab

Asked by Synergi Nov 15, 2015 at 10:56 AM about the 1997 Chevrolet Blazer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Blazer that, one day the air stopped blowing. The dial for ac to heater seems fine as well as the fan speed dial. Checked all the fuses, then trouble shot the resistor, then replaced the blower motor ( what a pain) ( I ran a wire to the battery to test it first. )  Still no air,  So now I'm stumped. What could be my problem.
Thanks

Do you mean the fan is not blowing or you're not getting air thru the vents? If the first, check the blower motor relay located near the resistor, second, there's a vacuum line that goes into fire wall on the passenger engine side compartment that supplies the interior vents, it may be disconnected, hope the info helps

Hi, The blower motor does not switch on at all. I'll check the relay... When I'm on the freeway at 50+, air comes through the area I have selected on the dial ie: defrost, floor or vents... Did not know about the relay or vacuum... Thanks for the suggestions
