cargurus advertisement

Asked by GuruHS3Z9 Sep 23, 2019 at 07:22 PM about the 2008 Jeep Wrangler

Question type: General

July 22, 2019 Saw cargurus advertisement for "Fresh Trade! SUPER COOL
JEEP!". Drove 200 miles. Dealership responded to every inquiry about the
2008 high mileage Jeep that it was a "great Jeep, no major mechanical, will
drive another 80,000 miles". We purchased. 2 days later the Jeep needed a
complete exhaust and catalytic converter replaced, wheel ball bearings
replaced, axel seals replaced,  oil gasket replace, and complete transmission
rebuild.

Would you please be able to provide the advertisement of this 2008 Jeep from
Dorsett Automotive?  I do NOT recall any advertisement on cargurus that this
Jeep would be a 'fixer upper'.

Thanks so much!!

PS I called and left message at customer service.

You believed the salesmen, how would they know it would last another 80k? No one knows that. I always get my used cars checked out by a mechanic before purchase.

No. I don't believe this. Details have to be a shadow somewhere. It's the internet, where perm stamps are always left! We'll find it...

@TDolby dude, not asking about YOUR problems, asking about how to recover a listing. My young son found this false advertise heap of junk on Cargurus. Do you have any suggestions about the question at hand? FYI Attorney General and FTC are interested in this dealership's fraud and deceptive used car business practice. Please help?
