My 1999 Chevy express van was running perfect until yesterday I left work and got on the highway it felt like it was slipping out of gear I pulled off and it would not go over 35 MPH felt stuck in 1st

The motor is strong no slugishness it just revs real high and like it slipped out of gear the tranny is new some I'm hoping it not that

get a new fuel pressure regulator...vacuum line is cracked or fallen off, there is no regulation of the fuel~
