my car won't start after replacing water pump?

ok well now i checked everything, and now when i go to turn over there a wierd clicking sound coming from somewhere i can't quite pinpoint. ( But thats not all) If i go to touch the starter ( which i just replaced, but i am unsure if it came with a cyilnoid or not) it jumps right up. ( But there still more now , if i go to hit the brakes , i got idiot lights coming on..
