'89 Labaron convertable, 2.5 turbo.

It will just die for no apparent reason - have to coast off the road.  We have replaced fuel pump and electronic ignition. The problem is intermitant  - may run fine for weeks or months then do it 2-3 times in one day.

have the fuel filter replaced, it may be clogging, they are fairly easy to do and only cost like $20. that may help

sounds like the ignition pickup common problem and easy fix , unscrew dist cap pull rotor and remove pickup assembly 2 plugs one grey one white, one for ignition the other is for fuel injection ,
