Water pump pulley is difficult to force off the shaft ... any ideas?

Kept tapping away on it and it finally came off ... belt guard bolt is located below the center of the guard-cannot be seen ... 8mm ... suggest you worry the bolt by going back and forth using deep socket and ratchet ... liquid wrench might help ...
