Normally there is a button to push. I have a button to walk through various readings, and by pushing and holding the button, like on oil % left before due, it will reset. If you have a manual, read it.

In my 2000 silverado I had to due the following while sitting in the drivers seat. 1. Turn the ignition switch from off to auxiliary. 2. Push the brake pedal to the floor and hold for 5 seconds. 3. Your change oil light will blink a couple of times and should reset.
