cigarette lighter doesn't work is it a fuse

The cigarette lighter doesn't work in my cavalier so i can't put in my ipod charger.  is it a fuse problem or something else.

fuses blow often on cigar lighters so check the fuse. if not thhe fuse it could be the socket its self.
