Tires for 1970 Cutlass Supreme

Question type: General

I currently have 205 70R 15 tires on my 1970 CS convertible. Either special
order of after market rims from what I have been able to tell. Either way,
need to upgrade the tires and want to put BFG TA Radials on.
Can I go up to 215 60R 15 and be ok on clearance on front and back? Other
options are 205 60R 15 or 215 70R 15. BFG does not currently make a 205
70R 15.

The 215/60-15 tires will be a 1"shorter so I would go with a taller tire. Maybe a 225/60-15 or maybe a 65 series tire if they are available. The 215/70-15 tires would be 1/2" taller which should work.
