Help!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban 4x4. While
leaving today it was making popping noises in the
back and then not wanting to go, I put it into park to
see what was wrong and it started rolling
backwards! I have no clue what could be wrong.

Sounds like you broke a U-joint. Check the rear drive shaft and see if something looks really out of place.
