My daughter has a 08 black dodge charger, still in
good condition. The only thing wrong is the motor. So
my question is Would she be able to sell it for a
reasonable good price or could she trade it in?

Does the vehicle run, just poorly? You can sell it either way and probably get the same amount of money for it. If selling privately, disclose the fact that the engine is an issue. But don't expect to get much for it. Wholesale price is around $2400 for an SE model without issues.
