The fuel pump is on the driver's side of the front cover of the engine. It is driven by a lobe on the cam shaft. There are 2 lines and 2 bolts to remove it. The rubber hose is the supply line from the tank, held on by a hose clamp. When you take it off, clamp it with vice grips, or it will siphon the fuel out of the tank. The steel line is something to be careful of, and I would soak it in penetrating oil first, as the nut can rust onto the line, and if you kink it, you will end up needing to replace that steel line. When you install the new one, be careful to make sure the armature engages the lobe on the cam, or you can damage your cam, break the new pump, or both. You may have to nudge the engine with the starter to get the pump arm into place.
