There should be a tag showing what the ratio is.. If not, youll have to take the cover off and there maybe a stamp on the ring gear.
Open your glove box and there well be a tag there with all the options codes If you have GT5 in those codes its 4.10 and G80 means it has POSI

I have a 2004 Chevy 2500HD that I just bought. It has the Vortec 6.0 liter V8. Its running 2500rpm at 70mph on the highway. Can i change the rears in the rearend to get better mpg with lower rpm.
