How do I bleed the clutch on a 2002 cavalier ???????

Asked by kellypatrick Aug 21, 2010 at 07:01 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I thought there was air in my line so I cracked the bleeder valve and now I cant figure out how to bleed it.  My clutch pedal either goes up or down like a light switch there is no pressure what so ever! Please , if you know how to bleed the clutch or know the problem let me know. Thanks

have some one push the pedal down then open the bleeder do this two or three times that should get the air out if this does not work then you will have to reverse bleed it which is to push fluid backwards up thru the master.
