The battery is approx 4 mos old...my husband got a new one and had a friend look at it and it appears that one of the wires (they say it's the alternator wire) wasn't hooked to the battery. They did that with a plastic electical end cap. Does that sound like it may have been the problem??? The car did start up right away after that. My concern is that it'll happen again and I'll get stuck somewhere!

we had this problem and previous owner had put in a walmart battery instead of the kind needed for this car as it draws so much electricity all the time.
