removing dealer installed remote start

Purchased a remote start from the dealer in which we bought the car new. I am sure it's a honda part and not after market. I want to remove it and try to maybe re sell it. I would assume its made to just plug into the existing components, but not shure where to start. I would Appriciate any help.

Dealerships will install aftermarket remote starts all the time on vehicles to make a sale. Odds are if the vehicle didnt leave the factory with a remote start than the one in it is aftermarket, which i can guarantee is not plug and play. Its going to be piggy-backed into multiple circuits and depending on who installed it, you may need to repair wires when removing it. The control unit is usually under the dash by the drivers feet. If you arent completely auto savvy than removing it yourself may do more harm than good. Also most people wont buy a previously installed unit. Good luck.
