Question type: Maintenance & Repair

just purchased a sweet 2008 trailblazer , however, after a recent rain storm , I went to turn on the back wiper and nothing happened then I tried the back defrost and that doesn't work either (for shits and giggles I also tried the back wiper squirter.. nope that doesn't work either)

Have you checked the fuses? Perhaps a broken electrical connection on the back hatch? If neither of these two items you may be looking at a bad wiper switch/handle.

Well the back wiper motor was broken (so dealer replaced it) but the back window defrost does not work because one side of the connection has pulled the connector off the window .... the dealer tried to fix the connector with sum sort of special glue ..... but nope.... that did not hold .... im dropping it off tonite for them to fix it but can anyone tell me if its hopeless??? seems all the research I've done says the rear window will need to be replaced??
