Converting Audi A4 headlights for continental driving

I am informed by Audi that there is a switch on my 2008 Audi  A4 Avant s line behind the headlights to change the direction of the dipped beam for when driving on the continent as importing my car to France. Anyone able to advise without me having to book it into an Audi dealership
