Replaced headlamp switch and fog lights not working

Asked by partsgirl2821 Jun 18, 2018 at 08:38 AM about the 2008 Chrysler Aspen

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the headlamp switch with new OEM switch (68269910AA) now the
fog lights do not work. I checked the circuit and it was fine. Any ideas?

You can check the fuse and do some testing at the fog relay? You could unplug relay and use proper jumper wire between terminals 30 and 87, terminal 30 should be hot all the time. If the fog lamps work with the jumper, but not w/o, then the problem is on control side of relay, the left side in the diagram, that side needs voltage and ground. The headlamp switch is involved so you may need to double check your work, if you haven't already? Just my opinion.
