Check engine light comes on and text reads engine reduce power

A fault code will be stored in the cars system. You will need to scan the car with an orbit code scanner. Have an auto parts store perform this test for you, it should be free. They will get 4 digit codes to help you find out why the CEL is on.

Still having problem with 2008 chevy hhr check engine light and service traction control light still coming on and car slowing down. Replaced fuel pump recommended by dealership service department which they said would fix the problem. Did not totally. Last diagnostic done about three months ago read P0300.
