front axle lifespan

was told 80,000 miles should replace front axles they can go without warning
True?

I don't think that is true. Just have the CV joints checked and if the boots are torn then replace the boots or the CV joint.

I agree again, check the CV boots for cracks or tears and you should be good to go.
