why does my radio stay on when I turn my car off in my ford fusion

Actually, the RADIO doesn't stay on, but the clock light does, and the CD player keeps acting like it's trying to play a CD. I haven't been able to eject any of my CDs in about 2 weeks. Someone said maybe water has leaked into some wires from the windshield wipers? I think they said "cowls". Does that make any sense?

same issue here with my ford fusion 2011, since i changed the battery the radio doesen't work anymore he always show ford fusion in the screen and no button is working anyhelp please

I have same issue on 2010 FFusion Hybrid w 68k miles. The radio is on, all working, then the sounds goes off or delayed volume adjustments. Super annoying and NOT safe, especially when you're in the middle of hands- free calling! I think it may be the amp, but who knows?!!

I had a dead battery this week, I got it boosted, now I notice when I turn my car off, take the key out, open and close the door, I can still turn my radio on or off, I think this may have caused my battery to die earlier. I never noticed this before, what could the problem be?
