Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? A misfire code may tell you which cylinder? If p0300, something common to all cylinders When the problem is ongoing, if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark, proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. If the engine is hot, wear gloves, that's what I do. You don't need to pull a spark plug to check for spark, just use the wire.
