will the water pump housing come off

the water pump bolts have snapped off and i cant drill them out so i was just going to replace the cover but i did not know if it came off and how hard of a job it is

Yes, you have to disassemble quite a bit but you have NO choice.. Buy a good service manual for the vehicle and read about the engine covers and accessories, read it a few times (its not the same as looking online).. I say NO way to drill these correctly and re-tap in this position. DON'T listen to anyone suggesting J B weld it..Silly.
