Changed battery and alternator, now
the brake lights do not work

What was the reason for changing alternator and battery?

If they are all out, it is probably the switch on the pedal linkage or a fuse in the fuse panel (under the dash).

Question is, why would the brake lights suddenly not work after a battery and alternator replacement? Could be a fuse, could be the brake light switch or something else.
