I accidently put a little atf fluid in my power steering reservoir. How much trouble did I just cause? Can I drie it to the mechanic in the morning or do I need to call a tow truck ?

It will be fine, they are both hydraulic fluid, trans fluid is fine in your power steering. But not the other way around, trans fluid has detergents.
