Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I try to use an air compressor (mine, whoevers) the fuse blows, it's a 20 amp fuse (what was in it originally) why would it blow and would it be okay to try a larger amp fuse?

Just make sure your car is running while in use...it will most likely prevent the fuse from blowing. Definitely don't use a larger amp fuse, it would just cause more problems.

oh, ok, come to think of it I don't think I've ever turned the car on when using it so that may be it! Thanks!
