Rough idle

Asked by Sammy_88 Oct 28, 2017 at 01:33 PM about the 2007 GMC Sierra Classic 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While running at an idle the truck runs at around
200-400 Rpm and acts like it wants to die. It had
died twice in a week now. I checked the spark
plugs and there is oil around #7. I sprayed carb
cleaner in the intake and it ran better for a few
hours then started acting up again. Does this
sound like a faulty pcv valve or something else.

it sounds to me like you may have an intake leak some where in the system.
